Keilana - Singer/Songwriter

“I’ve decided to devote everything to my passion. Over the years, I’ve seen how much good music has done for my life and for others. I’ve seen how much of an impact I can make on the community with my voice. I hope to spread the message that we need to reconnect. We live in a world that makes contact to all easily accessible, but ironically, disconnects us as humans. With all the chaos in the world, we need to bring back humanity. Music does this. You cannot appreciate music without feeling and I hope to connect with people and help others connect through the power of music. If I am able to share and connect my struggle with another person, share someone else’s joy, or spark something in someone, I’m fulfilling my purpose.”
— Keilana, 2016.

These experiences and achievements have brought her to where she is currently: A licensed professional musician who plays for private events and local venues anywhere from 3-6 days a week. All the while, Keilana is continuing her education at Honolulu Community College, delving into the Music Entertainment Learning Experience (MELE) Program to obtain a degree in Music Business.
